Diamond Studs Jesse James, A Saloon Musical

The Stampede Troupe will present “Diamond Studs,” a musical rendition of the life of iconic American outlaw Jesse James. Filled with over 25 toe-tapping songs, some original to the production, some adapted from classic American tunes, this show blends history and legend into a rollicking, fun-filled evening of pure Western entertainment. From Jesse's beginnings as a poor, disillusioned Southern sympathizer at the end of the Civil War, to his death at the hands of one of his most trusted companions; “Diamond Studs” follows the famous villan through a daring bank raid, a wild night in New Orleans at Belle Starr's saloon, and a confrontation with Pancho Villa in Mexico.
Directed by Troupe veteran Noel Johnston, with musical direction by Adam Kluck, the same creative team that produced last summer's smash hit “Cash: Ring of Fire,” “Diamond Studs” will feature a live country band, and is suitable for all ages. Most performances also include a meal catered by Kenny's Steak House. Order online, or call 970-356-7787 for tickets.
