Creedence Clearwater Revisited to Perform at the Greeley Stampede

Greeley, Colo., January 30, 2012 – The Greeley Stampede is pleased to announce the Classic Rock act performing at the 90th Annual celebration will be Creedence Clearwater Revisited.  Playing Saturday, June 30th, the band will round out the five-concert series hosted in Greeley, Colo. June 22 through July 4. Creedence Clearwater Revisited features band members and song selections from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival.

This year the Greeley Stampede has a new option for concert ticket buyers. The Stampede Super Stars Pass is available now, and provides admission to all five concerts at this year’s Stampede for only $80 for reserved seating or $50 for general admission tickets ‐ less than the cost of two individual concert tickets. The other featured concerts include Justin Moore on June 22, Luke Bryan on June 23, Skillet on July 1, and Montgomery Gentry on July 3.

Featuring Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, the original rhythm section (bass and drums, respectively) from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Creedence Clearwater Revisited performs all of the former band’s greatest hits from the 1960s and 70s including “Susie Q,” “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and “Who’ll Stop the Rain.” Creedence Clearwater Revisited performing in 1995 and currently performs up to 100 shows a year. The band is rounded out by vocalist John Tirstao, lead guitarist Kurt Griffey, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner.
