The Greeley Stampede announced the completion of the 2005 Stampede Stars & Spurs package Thursday. On Saturday July 2, 2005, LeAnn Rimes with special guest Dierks Bentley will be rocking the Stampede Arena.

LeAnn Rimes is one the best known female country artists in the business and she is only twenty-two years old. The two-time Grammy Winner has won the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Song of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and Top New Female Vocalist awards, Country Music Television (CMT) Female Rising Star of the Year, and Billboard Artist of the Year Award just to name a few. At the age of thirteen, LeAnn's debut album, Blue, captured the attention of country fans. Follow-up hits included "One Way Ticket" (her first number one single), "How Do I Live", and "Can't Fight the Moonlight" from the Coyote Ugly soundtrack. Her current single "Nothin Bout Love Makes Sense" is currently on the CMT's Top Twenty Countdown.

Opening for LeAnn Rimes on July 2, is Dierks Bentley, one of country music hottest singers. He has stormed onto the scene with smash hits like "What Was I Thinkin" and "How Am I Doin." His single "What Was I Thinkin" reached Number One on both the Billboard and R&R country singles. Bentley won the ACM Top Male Vocalist award in 2003 and was named CMT Flameworthy "Breakthrough Video of the Year" in 2004.

The Stars & Spurs package features LeAnn Rimes with Dierks Bentley on July 2, Chris Cagle with Jimmy Wayne and the Pro Rodeo on July 3 for one low price! These concerts will be sold separately in mid-May.

One of the top Pro Rodeos in the world will again be featured at this year's Stampede, which annually draws all the top rodeo athletes in the world to Greeley. Stampede Pro Rodeos begin on June 27 and run daily through July 4, wrapping up with the Coors Stampede Finals. The Finals will again be delay telecast on the Outdoor Life Network as part of the PRCA's Pro Rodeo Summer Tour.

Other events featured at this year's Stampede include the ever popular Demolition Derby which is set for June 26 at 4:00 pm the Western Art Exhibit & Sale, televised 4th of July Parade, Free Entertainment, Beer Garden and much, much more.

The Greeley Stampede Box Office is now open just in time for holiday gift giving. The Box Office is located in Island Grove Regional Park and is open from 8:00am-4:00pm with extended holiday hours in December.
