Saddle up for an exclusive look at the Greeley Stampede's rodeo action!
Behind the Chutes Tours grant event patrons the opportunity to meet the rodeo clown and Miss Rodeo Colorado, to explore the rodeo stock and equipment, and to visit with members of the horseback drill team, the Stampede Riders. This interactive walking tour is fun for all ages and provides endless photo opportunities to capture Greeley Stampede rodeo memories.
Location: Tours depart from the north side of main ticket office at 5:30pm on weekdays and 11:30am on weekends.
Dates: Prior to all PRCA Rodeos
- Tuesday, June 27th - 5:30-6pm
- Wednesday, June 28th - 5:30-6pm
- Thursday, June 29th - 5:30-6pm
- Saturday, July 1st - 11:30am-12pm
- Sunday, July 2nd - 11:30am-12pm
- Monday, July 3rd - 5:30-6pm
Check-in: Check-in for the Behind the Chutes Tour occurs at window 6 of the main ticket office beginning at 5pm for weekday rodeos (June 27, 28, 29, and 3) and 11am for weekend rodeos (July 1 and 2).
Group size: Each tour will take the first 12 people that sign up at window #6 of the main ticket office. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should be comfortable standing, walking across uneven ground, and climbing stairs as Behind the Chutes Tours include 30 minutes of standing during demonstrations, walking over soft, uneven terrain, and climbing two sets of arena stairs.
