Greeley Stampede breaks ground on Buckle Club project

01/14/2016
The Greeley Stampede and the City of Greeley are partnering to build a new facility in Island Grove Regional Park. The new 5,000+ sq. ft. building will feature ADA compliant restrooms including two family restrooms, two multi-use concession stands and a 1,500 sq. ft. banquet room with a covered patio. This new facility will replace the outdated round restrooms located in the middle of park.

The Buckle Club banquet room, located on the upper floor, will be available to rent year round through the City of Greeley and will be ideal for meetings, private parties and family gatherings. During the annual Greeley Stampede event, the Buckle Club will be a hospitality area for major event sponsors and offer ideal viewing of the Banner Health Free Stage, food court, daily parade in the park, firework displays and the Stampede Saloon.

More than 600,000 people annually use or attend events at Island Grove Regional Park including the Greeley Stampede, Colorado Farm Show, Weld County Fair, the Greeley Blues Jam, the Greeley Kennel Club Show and the Evergreen Kennel Club Show.

The general contractor is Turn Key Builders and it is expected to be completed by June 1, 2016.
