Guests are encouraged to wear pink on June 27, 2016 at the PRCA Pro Rodeo sponsored by Banner Health North Colorado Medical Center. It’s an opportunity to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness by being “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” (TETWP). Many of the toughest cowboys even show their support by wearing pink during the rodeo.
This year, the Greeley Stampede will be selling “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” Frisbees and t-shirts and all proceeds will benefit Banner Health Breast Center. Shirts come in three designs and styles and can be purchased through the Banner Health gift shop now for only $10 and will also be available for purchase during all 12 days of the Greeley Stampede (while supplies last).
The Frisbee Toss contest takes place during the June 27 PRCA Pro Rodeo and are available for $5 each or three for $10 on the day of the rodeo performance. Guests have a chance to win a VIP Chris Janson concert package that includes two Spur Club passes, two Pit Passes, two Meet & Greet (upon availability) and one parking pass if they can get their Tough Enough to Wear Pink Frisbee in the GMC truck bed that will be driven around the arena before the bull riding performance. Guests must be at least 18 years old to purchase and have a June 27, 2016 rodeo ticket to participate. All proceeds of the TETWP Frisbee Toss benefit the NCMC Breast Center.
Listed as a Top-25 Pro Rodeo according to purse size, the Stampede is famous for having a topnotch performance. The Greeley Stampede rodeo features eight exciting events during every performance: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin', and Bull Riding. Stampede PRCA Rodeo promotional nights also include: Man Up Crusade Day on June 28 sponsored by US Army and Patriot Night on June 30 sponsored by Burris Company.
