Virtual Stampede Video Series

Episode 1: Fried Kool-Aid and S'mores

Since we can't have the Greeley Stampede, we're going to bring the spirit of the Stampede to your home! On this episode, learn how to make fried Kool-Aid and S'mores with Miss Rodeo Colorado and Sandra of Nana's Famous BBQ & Grill and Samantha's Famous Aloha Grill! You may recognize Sandra from her booth at the Greeley Stampede food court every year, serving up her famous Rodeo Burger!

Batter Recipe - use this as the base for all 3 recipes!
3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons melted butter

Episode 2: Pepsi Floats

We're getting creative making ice-cream floats with Pepsi and Meadow Gold Ice Cream! Thanks to our friends at Pepsi, we also have a chance for you to win a Pepsi Prize Pack including a personal canopy tent, cooler, and Weber grill. All you need to do is head to the original Facebook post and comment your favorite Pepsi float by July 4th to enter to win. One lucky winner will be randomly selected from the comments!

Caramel Apple Float
Meadow Gold salted caramel ice cream
Manzanita Sol apple soda
Top with caramel drizzle

Orange Creamsicle Float
Meadow Gold vanilla bean ice cream
Orange Crush soda
Top with whipped cream

Chocolate-Covered Cherry Float
Meadow Gold chocolate ice cream
Wild Cherry Pepsi
Top with whipped cream and a cherry

Episode 3: Summer Cocktails

Today Morgan is going to show us how to make some refreshing Jack Daniel's summer cocktails! Which one are you going to try at your next BBQ?

Single Barrel Old Fashioned
2 oz. Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select
1/2 oz. simple syrup
2 dashes Jack Daniel's Tennessee Cocktail Bitters
Orange peel
Fill a rocks glass with large ice cubes. Add Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select, Tennessee Cocktail Bitters, and simple syrup to the glass. Stir gently. Rub the orange peel around the rim of the glass and add as garnish.

Tennessee Honey Smash
2 oz. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey
6-8 mint leaves
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Fill a cocktail shaker with cubed ice. Add all ingredients and shake for 15-20 seconds. Strain the liquid into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Add mint leaves to garnish.

Gentleman Jack Watermelon Smash
5-6 cubes of watermelon
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
2 dashes Jack Daniel's Tennessee Cocktail Bitters
1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack
In a glass, muddle the watermelon cubes then add to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add lemon juice, simple syrup, and bitters to shaker and shake for 15-20 seconds. Add the Gentleman Jack and shake for another 5-10 seconds. Fine-strain the liquid into a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a watermelon slice.

Episode 4: Fried Oreos

Want to learn how to make fried Oreos at home? Justin, Executive Chef at Gourmet Grub Scratch Kitchen, is going to show us how!

Batter recipe:
2 cups of buttermilk pancake mix
2 cups of water (add extra if batter is still thick)
Red food coloring
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

Heat your oil to 300 degrees

Coat your Oreos in flour, then cover them with the batter mixture.
Set coated Oreos in the oil and let cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Remove from oil and set on a paper towel-lined plate to catch the excess oil.
Move the Oreos to a clean plate and top with powdered sugar and whipped cream.
Enjoy!

Episode 5: Smoked BBQ Ribs

It's BBQ season and we have Bubba and Bear from The Dugout Bar-B-Q giving us some pointers on smoking ribs! Don't feel like making them yourself? You can get the ribs at the Dugout for a special price, for a limited time, as part of the Greeley Stampede Festival Food Tour! (July 24-July 5)

Episode 6: Beer Cocktails

Morgan's back, and this time sh's showing us how to make beer cocktails with products from our friends at Breckenridge Brewery, Bud Light, and Michelob ULTRA! Try one out at your next backyard barbecue!

Breckenridge Brewery Strawberry Sky Lemonade
1 oz. citrus vodka
6 oz. Strawberry Sky
Top with lemonade
Pour into a pint glass filled with ice and stir gently
Garnish with a lemon wedge and strawberry

Bud Light Strawberry Seltzer Mojito
6-8 mint leaves
3-4 chopped strawberries
1 oz. simple syrup
Juice from 1/2 lime
1 oz. white rum
Bud Light Strawberry Selzer
Muddle together the mint leaves, strawberries, simple syrup, and lime juice. Add 1 oz. of white rum and add ice. Top with Bud Light Strawberry Seltzer.

Michelob ULTRA Margarita Spritzer
Raspberries
2 oz. lime juice
1 oz. sweet & sour mix
1 oz. tequila
1/2 oz. triple sec
Michelob ULTRA Lime and Prickly Pear Cactus Infusion
In a glass, muddle together raspberries, lime juice, and sweet & sour mix. Add muddled ingredients to cocktail shaker, then add in tequila, triple sec, and top with Michelob ULTRA Lime and Prickly Pear Cactus Infusion. Add ice to margarita glass, then pour margarita into the glass. Garnish with a lime.
