We understand that our community and guests may have a number of questions about the postponement of the 99th Greeley Stampede. Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this new territory.
Q: I had already bought tickets for the 2020 event. What are my options? A: (Updated 5/1/2020) In support of our guests and ticket holders, the Greeley Stampede is offering credit for the 2021 event, the opportunity to donate to community organizations, or refunds. If you choose the credit option, you will be given an exclusive opportunity to select or purchase additional tickets before they are available to the general public when we have the 2021 concerts and event schedule finalized. Ticket holders will have until June 1, 2020 to file their claim.
Q: Is the Greeley Stampede postponed, or cancelled? A: Recently the Greeley Stampede was notified by government health officials that we would not be able to host our large event due to COVID-19 health concerns for our community and related restrictions on gathering sizes. Unfortunately this has resulted in the need to cancel the summer events that were scheduled for late-June, while postponing the 99th Greeley Stampede to 2021.
Even though this year's Greeley Stampede is postponed to 2021 and the summer events have been cancelled, we are working on continuing two community traditions - fireworks & rodeo. The Greeley Stampede will partner with local businesses to continue to provide our community with Northern Colorado's largest display on Saturday, July 4th. In September, the Greeley Stampede is planning to partner with the PRCA to produce three (3) virtual Spud Rodeo performances to celebrate our roots and the sport of rodeo. Q: Will the same artists play in 2021? A: With the 2020 artists' schedules and their tours being cancelled as well, it is too early to make those decisions. We will continue to work to bring quality artists to the event.
Q: Would I be able to get the same seats for 2021?A: We cannot guarantee the same seats, but if you choose the credit option you will be given the opportunity to select your seat location before the general public.
Q: Do you really need all the barcodes for each ticket, pictures of each ticket, and account number?A: We only need the account number from one of the tickets. The account number is located on the top right corner of the ticket.
Q: When will we be able to use our credits for 2021? A: You will be able to use your credits when we announce the 2021 concert lineup and finalize the event calendar. Guests that select a credit will be notified when they will be able to claim their tickets before the general public.
Q: What if I change my mind after June 1 and want a refund instead of a credit?A: We will not be able to transfer a credit into a refund after June 1st, 2020.
Q: I bought tickets from who I thought was the Greeley Stampede, but turns out it was not. How am I going to get the rest of my money I paid for my ticket?A: If you purchased tickets from a third party site, we recommend contacting them for their refund policy.
Q: What if I won tickets from the radio station? Will I get credit for those for 2021, do I fill out the form?A: Tickets won from a radio station or contest will be eligible for a credit to a 2021 event equal to the prize won.
Q: What about gift cards? Do I fill out the form?A: Gift cards issued in 2020 that have not been claimed will be good for the 2021 events. Hold onto your card and when the event tickets are available to the general public you may claim your gift card.
Q: If my credit card expired or I don't have it anymore, how do I get my refund?A: If your credit card expired or you no longer have the card used for the initial purchase, you will be issued a check.
