2022 Greeley Stampede FAQ

The staff and volunteers at the Greeley Stampede are currently hard at work planning a safe and enjoyable event to celebrate the historic 100th event in 2022. Thank you for your patience as we finalize these plans.

Q: Will there be a Greeley Stampede in 2022?

A: Yes, the event is scheduled for June 23 - July 4 and will be the 100th celebration of the event.

Q: When will tickets go on sale for the 2022 Greeley Stampede?

A: We do have a lot of projects that we cannot wait to share with you to make the 100th a celebration to remember. All of this work will take time and we appreciate your patience as we finalize the concert lineup and ticket schedule. Right now we are looking at having the lineup ready for announcing and going on sale in early spring of 2022. Be sure to follow us on social media for updates.

Q: Will there be a parade this year?

A: Yes, there will be the traditional Independence Day Parade on July 4th at 9am. Not only can you watch the parade, but you can also be a part of it. We are looking for individuals, clubs, and businesses that want to help make this a bigger and better parade to celebrate the 100th event. More information will be available soon about how to participate. Be sure to follow us on social media for updates.

Q: Will there be a longhorn drive?

A: Yes, the Longhorn Drive is scheduled for Thursday, June 23 at 11am in downtown Greeley near Lincoln Park.

Q: Will there be a fireworks show?

A: Yes, there will be a fireworks show on the 4th of July at 9:30 (Time is approximate and weather dependent). Opening night fireworks are still being determined.

Q: Are there volunteer opportunities for the 2022 Greeley Stampede

A: The Greeley Stampede and the Greeley Stampede Wranglers are always looking for volunteers. To learn about the Wranglers, the Stampede volunteer organization, click here.

Q: Does my child need a ticket to the arena event?

Kids under the age of 2 do not need a ticket to a rodeo event or demolition derby as long as the child and belongings do not occupy another seat. Kids tickets are available for $6 and include a seat location.

Q: Will there be a clear bag policy o?

A: Yes, there will be a clear bag policy in 2022 so please plan accordingly. More information on the details of the policy will be available soon.

Q: What am I allowed to bring to the event?

A: Please see the prohibited items list below.

Q: I still have my tickets from 2020. Are they valid?

A: No. Any ticket that was for an event in 2020 is no longer valid.
