Celebrating the 18th Annual Stampede Western Art Exhibit & Sale and it's rich history showcasing western paintings and sculpture. Visitors are encouraged to browse the diverse range of art exhibits as well as meet and greet the artists during the Annual Stampede Western Invitational Art Exhibit and Sale.
This year artists from around the country will be featured, and more than 200 pieces of artwork will be showcased. The art show is open to over 250,000 Stampede visitors each year, and exceeded $1,000,000 in sales during the 2013 event.
This exhibit continues to draw outstanding artists from around the country. Not only is this a fantastic cultural and programming addition, but it serves a purpose as well. Revenue from artwork purchased will go directly to scholarships in Weld County for high school seniors.
The sale and show is sponsored by First National Bank and is located in the Event Center lobby at Island Grove Regional Park. The exhibit is open daily during the Stampede until 9 p.m. It is free with park admission.

The show kicks off with the Opening Night Gala on Thursday, June 22nd. This exciting night offers patrons a chance to meet many of the artists, as well as the first opportunity to purchase the artwork. Quick draw demonstrations by several of the artists will take place as well as a live auction of the pieces they create. Be sure to get your ticket early, which includes food and drinks. Tickets are available from the Stampede Ticket office (970-356-7787) and are only $40 each if purchased before June 17th. Tickets purchased after this date and at the door will be $60 each.
The exhibit remains open to the public throughout the Stampede, June 23rd - July 4th, 2017.
