Cory Sample
A Greeley native, Cory has been proudly involved with the Greeley Stampede since 1992. His Stampede journey began as a volunteer helping set up arena seating with the Greeley Central Band Booster Club, sparking a lifelong connection to the event and the community it serves. In 2001, Cory officially joined the Stampede as a Wrangler and was appointed Trail Boss of Night Shows that same year. Growing up in Greeley and spending time with close relatives who farmed and ranched in the Nebraska panhandle, he developed a deep appreciation for western culture and its traditions. The Greeley Stampede has provided a meaningful way for Cory to honor those values while giving back to the community that shaped him. Cory is grateful for the support of his wife, Kara, and their daughter, Kadence, as he continues to focus on the ongoing success of this cherished community event.
