Stephen Walker- Parades Chairman
Stephen grew up working on a ranch in Santa Rosa and a farm in Moriarty, New Mexico, before moving to Albuquerque, where he completed high school. He went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business. From an early age, Stephen was involved in his family’s feed business, supporting operations at racehorse tracks in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Denver, and at the National Western Stock Show. During his college years, he also contributed to the Greeley Stampede, serving as the Outrider Coordinator and working in Souvenirs. Stephen spent 19 years with Cargill before transitioning to Norfolk Iron & Metal in Greeley as General Manager, a move that brought his family from Tulsa to Eaton, Colorado. He now serves as a Commercial Manager for Friedman Industries, marking 26 years in the steel industry. Stephen and his wife, Jasmyn, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of 12-year-old twins, Rylee and Corbyn. He is honored to serve the Greeley community as a member of the Greeley Stampede Committee.
