The Greeley Stampede Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2006 to support continuing education for Weld County students. Since beginning the program, the Stampede Foundation has awarded more than $850,000 has been awarded
to over 650 students Northern Colorado students.
Purpose:
To support our community and students pursuing higher
education by awarding scholarships & grants.
In 2024, the Stampede Foundation will be awarding $102,000 in scholarships & grants including twenty-two $2,500 academic high school seniors scholarships. Graduating Weld County High School Seniors can apply for academic scholarships until 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Click

Funding for the Foundation is provided by three annual events produced by the Greeley Stampede. Proceeds of the Big Buckle Ball, golf tournament and Western Art Show raised more than $65,000 in 2023. Additional individual donations from the Old Bucker organization, Weld Trust, Sam's Club and First Interstate Bank help fund additional scholarships and grants.
