Behind the Chutes Tour

Prepare for an experience unlike any other! Walk behind the scenes, learn from the pros, and get up-close and personal with the livestock. This interactive walking tour is fun for all ages and provides endless photo opportunities to capture Greeley Stampede rodeo memories.

Participants should be comfortable standing, walking across uneven ground, and climbing stairs as Behind the Chutes Tours include 30 minutes of standing during demonstrations, walking over soft, uneven terrain, and climbing stairs.

Participants will also be asked to sign a waiver of liability before proceeding on the tour.

Sign up ahead of time for a VIP experience

For $20 per person you will have a guaranteed spot on the tour as well as receive $20 to spend at our food vendors anytime during our 2024 event. Spots are limited so make sure to sign up while the chance is here!

Pre-registration is only available for half of our spots to allow for people to still show up day of. If you would like to experience this one of a kind opportunity please fill out the form below during the registration window (April 16th - June 10th). After the entry window has closed a schedule will be posted with available walk up times day of.

Location:
Tours will depart from the main ticket office at 5:30p on weekdays and 11:30a on weekends.

Check- in:
Check-in for the Behind the Chutes Tour occurs in front of the main office beginning at 11:00a for weekend rodeos (June 29th and 30th) and 5:00p for weekday rodeos (June 27th and July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd).

If you have NOT pre-registered please show up 30 minutes prior to departure (5:00p on weekdays, 11:00a on weekends) It is not unheard of to have our tours fill up within the first 10 minutes! Unfortunately, once we are full we can not accommodate extra people given the locations the tour goes.

Group Size:
Each tour will be 12-15 people. The amount of spots available will depend on pre-registration and will be first come, first serve. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
