3rd Annual Greeley Stampede Brickies Creation Festival ™

Do you love LEGO®? Are you a master builder with unique ideas?

If so, please join us for a fun and competitive day of LEGO® building! We would love to see what you can create in just four hours!

Not interested in competing? There will be plenty to do and see for those not signed up for the competition, including building zones, contests and games, and displays by the Denver and Colorado/Wyoming LEGO® User’s Groups.

Registration for the Third Annual Brickies Creation Festival™ at the Greeley Stampede, opens on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 9am.

Children, adults and families are encouraged to come and show off their skills. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each category.

Make sure to sign up early, as space is limited! No cost to participate!

Date of Event: Saturday, July 6, 2024

Where: Events Center in Island Grove Regional Park, Greeley, CO

Rules

• Participants will the last week of May, as to whether or not they are one of the first seven applicants accepted (in each category).
• All applicants not accepted, will be placed on a waitlist.
• A mandatory meeting for all participants will be held prior to the event. This meeting will provide all the details for the competition and festival. It is not optional. Date is TBD.
• Each individual/team will be supplied with a tenting, a table, and chairs in Island Grove Park on the day of the Festival.
• Each individual/team will be given a boxed set of LEGO® and have four hours to create an original creation that adheres to the designated theme.
• At 5:30pm, a jury will judge each creation on the same criteria.
• An Awards Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm and awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place in each category.
• Please Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the Festival. Festival Organizers are not responsible for the supervision of participants.

Day of Schedule:

• 12:30pm – 1:30pm – Check-in for preregistered participants
• 1:30pm – 5:30pm – Building and creation
• 5:30pm – 6:30pm – Judging
• 6:30pm - Awards ceremony

Categories:

• Adult (ages 16+)
• Family (maximum of 4 family members, one of which must be an adult)
• Child (ages 9 - 15)
• In the Adult & Child Category, participants may enter as an individual or as a team of two
