Bartenders - Bartenders are the face of the stampede; making sure our patrons have a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience is our top priority. Bartenders will greet customers, learn their preferences, answer questions and recommend menu items, prepare and serve beverages while maintaining a fun, friendly atmosphere.
To be considered for employment, applicants must be available to work a minimum of five (5) shifts during the event and attend a minimum of one (1) Bartender Responsible Alcohol Service Trainings. Applicants must also be over 21 years old, have availability to work nights and weekends, demonstrate basic math and computer skills, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, have reliable transportation, have the ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and more.
Bar Manager - The Greeley Stampede Bar Managers will be a vital key to the success of the Stampede Beverage Program. Bar Managers will provide support to the Beverage Coordinator by overseeing bar staff and implementing new procedures. We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, personable people to fill seasonal bar management positions.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have sufficient bartending/restaurant experience, have extensive knowledge of bartending, serving, the Greeley Stampede, and must demonstrate leadership skills. Applicants must also be reliable and ethical, have the ability to work in a fast-paced/high pressure environment, demonstrate excellent problem solving and customer service skills, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Bar Managers will be seasonal hourly, non-exempt employees. The Bar Manager position will require flexible scheduling to accommodate peak times, community involvement, and meetings. See full description for mandatory dates for this position.
Bartender Lead - Bartender Leads are a new position in the Beverage Program. Bar leads will work directly in support of bar managers and help to supervise the beverage operations at designated locations. Bartender Leads will perform all duties assigned to the bartenders, as well support the bar managers. The beverage leadership team will also assist with inventory management throughout the event.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a minimum of three (3) years Stampede Bartending Experience, have extensive knowledge of bartending, serving, the Greeley Stampede, and must demonstrate leadership skills. Applicants must also be reliable and ethical, have the ability to work in a fast-paced/high pressure environment, demonstrate excellent problem solving and customer service skills, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Applicants must also be available to work a minimum of eight (8) shifts during the event; concert nights, Fridays, & Saturdays are mandatory for this position. Applicants must also attend one (1) Bartender Responsible Alcohol Service Trainings.
Bar Backs - Bar backs help bartenders provide quick and efficient service to customers. Bar backs clean the bar, change kegs, refill ice bins, and restock bar stations. Bar backs also pour beer and assist bartenders with different tasks. Bar backs also assist with keeping the bar working area clean and functional.
To be considered for employment, applicants must be over 18 years old, be available on nights and weekends, have reliable transportation, and be able to handle working in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Applicants must also have knowledge of bar menu items, have the ability to walk, stand, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and occasionally 160 lbs.
Brew Crew - Brew Crew Team Members will be beverage employees who assist with product distribution to each bar throughout the event. Brew Crew members will handle beverage equipment, accurately fill product orders for bar locations, complete necessary delivery forms & paperwork, and assist Beverage Specialist as needed.
Applicants must be able to work a minimum of six (6) 4-6 hour shifts during the event, must be reliable and trustworthy, be able to safely operate equipment such as a pallet jack and/or kubota,have basic math skills, as well as strong task and time management abilities. Applicants must also be able to frequently lift and move up to 160 lbs., have reliable transportation, and be able to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods.
