Tournament & Matches

• All players play at their own risk. We recommend players above the age of 16. Players under 18 need parent permission.
• Waivers MUST be signed the day of by all players.
• Check-in begins at 11:00am on the east side of The D Saloon.
• Captain’s meeting at 11:30am on Sunday, June 28^th.
• Matches begin at 12:00pm on Sunday, June 28^th.
• Single elimination in brackets.
• Game equipment and game balls will be provided.
• The schedule will operate on a first court available system. Teams are responsible for monitoring their own game time. It is recommended to check in with the welcome table to determine the amount of time before the next game starts.
• Games will not be paused for late or missing teams.
• UNC Volleyball will be reffing and keeping score.
• If a team is not playing, they are allowed to explore the Stampede grounds or grab a drink from the bar (if player is 21+).

• All players must conduct themselves in a mature manor and use good sportsmanship at all times.
• All players and teams must be respectful of one another and the UNC Volleyball team.
• Foul language or actions against another team or ref will not be tolerated.
• Excessive inebriation as witnessed by tournament director will result in disqualification.
• No outside speakers or music allowed.

• Players must rotate… the server must change each rotation.
• Minimum of 2 females on the court at all times.
• Allowed to play with a minimum of 3 players.
• No tipping or open handed dumps allowed.
• First touch cannot be a set/ double contact
• Shoulders must be squared with net if a ball is being set over to the other side.
• A ball that hits the net on a serve and goes over is a playable ball.
• Net violations will be called or you can call your own.
• Teams switch sides after each set.
• Teams switch sides after each set. If both sides agree, it can be more often.
• A female must contact it at least once if there are 2+ contacts per side.
