Buckle Club Plaque Program Re-Opens

07/21/2016

The Greeley Stampede and the City of Greeley partnered to build a new facility in Island Grove Regional Park called the Buckle Club. One of the ways community members, organizations and businesses helped support the capital improvement project was by donating through the Plaque Program. Due to popular demand, the Plaque Program is being re-opened for a limited time as an opportunity to honor an individual, family or business that has contributed to the many events at the park and be a part of the history.

The Buckle Club Plaque Program has three donation levels: $500 (4”x 2” size), $1,000 (9”x 3” size) and $5,000 (14”x 6” size). The Greeley Stampede will feature the name or designated text on a plaque. The plaques will be a part of a larger 32”x15” plaques that will be displayed on the north side of the Buckle Club for the life of the building. Each plaque can have up to 3 lines of engraving with a maximum of 15 characters and spaces per line.

“This continues to be a great opportunity for the community to support the Greeley Stampede and Island Grove Park,” said Justin Watada, Greeley Stampede General Manager. “It’s been a great addition to the park during the Stampede, and is now another option for private receptions or parties. Plus, supporters get to put their name on the building for the 600k+ annual park visitors to see.”

Space is limited! The deadline to order is Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 2pm. You can be a part of the Buckle Club Plaque program by calling 970-356-7787, visiting the Stampede Office at 600 N. 14th Avenue in Greeley Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm or order online at www.greeleystampede.org/p/bcplaque . Full payment must be submitted with order form.

The Buckle Club, completed in mid-June, is a 5,000+ sq. ft. building that features two family restrooms, two multi-use concession stands and a 1,500 sq. ft. banquet room with a covered patio and seating capacity of 160. This new facility replaced the outdated, round restrooms located in the middle of park.
