DAY ONE COMES TO
AN END, BUT THE ACTION CONTINUES TO STAMPEDE
June 26, 2014 (GREELEY, CO) Get Western!
The Greeley Stampede officially opened its gates at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June
26, to guests from around the state, the nation and even the world. Kicking off
the extreme action was Xtreme Bullriding with Top 25 PRCA cowboys leading the
pack. There were a total of 41 riders with many fewer completing their
eight-second rides. The top 8 riders included:

On Friday, June 27th the park
will open at 4pm with more live action including Free Stage concerts throughout
the evening and capping the entertainment on the Arena Stage a country concert
with Jake Owen at 8:00 p.m. and special guest Charlie Worsham. A limited number of tickets are available for
Jake Owen and tickets can only be purchased online or at the Stampede Ticket
office window.
In addition, this year the Stampede is
featuring the BMX Pros Trick Team in the Kids Korral. These tricksters are ones
to stop and see as they roll from the ground and into the air twisting and
flipping fifteen to twenty feet in the air on regular old street bike. Don’t
