STAMPEDE DAY
SIX: KIDS AND COMMUNITY DAY!
July
1, 2014 (GREELEY, CO) The weather was perfect for the sixth day of the Greeley
Stampede, which was designated as Kids and Community Day to honor both kids and
the community-at-large.
Kids
and Community Day was a way for the Stampede to show appreciation by
discounting Rodeo Tickets, Carnival Wristbands, and even provide 2 for 1
beverages from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The
main feature of the day was the PRCA Pro Rodeo, which started at 7:00 p.m. to a
crowd of around 4,800 ooing and aahing fans. The action was heightened by
Saddle Bronc Rider Ty Kirkland with a score of 83. See the attached list of all
aggregate scores, placement, and times for the first three Rodeos.
Inside
Centennial Village daily activities are free with park admission and include a
living history approach to historical events like traditional western foods,
tomahawk throwing, The activity’s descriptions, specifics and times can
be found online or on the Stampede App.
Tomorrow
on the Big Country 97.9 Free Stage an entire line up of concerts starts at 4:00
pm, with country artist and star from One Tree Hill, Jana Kramer singin live
and in person starting at about 10:30pm.
Rodeo
continues tomorrow on Wild West Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Come dressed in western
wear for a discounted admission. Don’t miss out on the great food, the carnival
rides, and the variety of activities that go on during the entire evening.
Coming up Thursday is Military Day, anyone that comes in their Military
uniform, or has a Military ID will get in free and get tickets in the North
Grand Stands for free.
