It was an exciting night in the arena filled with bulls and cowboys sponsored by Bank of Colorado and day sponsor Pepsi. Announcer Will Rasmussen and Barrelman Dennis Halsted kept the crowd entertained with witty banter once the chutes opened. On the floor keeping the riders safe was cowboy protection team Chuck Swisher, Wacey Munsell and Ryder Rich.
Staying on the bulls for the full eight seconds is never an easy task and tonight was no exception. With an impressive gathering of some of the best bull riders in the country, renowned stock contractor Beutler & Sons Rodeo Company provided some of the best rodeo athletes to compete against; the bulls. Taking home a prize of over $8,500 tonight and an Otterbox Venture 25 cooler is Jake Gardner from Fort St. John, BC riding 505 Curious George RM with a score of 86!
Taking second place with a score of 68, and being the only other contestant to stay on for the full eight seconds, is Michel Gavin from Nixa, MO on X64 Rock Salt BU. You can view the rest of the results online at greeleystampede.org/p/2021-rodeo-day-sheets.
