The Greeley Stampede Golf Tournament, sponsored by Great Western Bank, will be held at the Eaton Country Club on Saturday, June 4, 2016. The event is open to the public and businesses are encouraged to become sponsors. Sponsorships start at only $100 to have your name or logo featured on a tee box sign. Teams can also look forward to Santiago’s breakfast burritos, a JBS steak lunch, and vouchers for a future round of golf at the Eaton Country Club.
The Stampede Golf Tournament began in 1994 to benefit the Stampede Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, which provides scholarships to Weld County students to support their continued education.
Since the Foundation’s inception, more than $314,000 in scholarships have been awarded to students. Each year tournament participants not only enjoy golf and the camaraderie, but also look forward to helping Weld County students reach their educational goals.
“A great day of golf fun for the players can be incredibly beneficial to local students,” said Joe Nally, Golf Tournament Lead. “Last year sold out and it’s expected to do the same this year with only a couple of foursomes still available.”
