Each year the Greeley Stampede partners with community organizations in numerous ways to help with their fundraising and awareness campaigns. For the 95th Annual Greeley Stampede, over $980,000 was donated back into the community, which is nearly ten times the amount of previous years.
Partnerships include designated rodeo nights like “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” where fundraising dollars go to the NCMC Breast Center. Additional events like the Western Art Show, Golf Tournament and Big Buckle Ball benefit the Stampede Foundation who in turn offers education-based scholarships to local youth. Assigning event tasks in exchange for fundraising dollars, offering a free “Community Booth” during the event, and larger monetary donations to help with capital improvements like the Buckle Club and Aven’s Village are many of the ways the Stampede helps give back.
For the 95th Annual event the Greeley Stampede also partnered with Weld Food Bank and offered a designated area in the Events Center for their CanSculpture Challenge. The Stampede also helped collect over 500lbs of food by offering carnival wristband discounts on a designated day with every can donated.
