DAY TWO WAS A
BEACHIN’ TIME WITH JAKE OWEN AND MORE!
June 27, 2014 (GREELEY, CO) Jake Owen
brought down the house with his #5 charted song Beachin’ at the Greeley
Stampede Friday night. He played to a
crowd of almost 11,000 screaming and adoring fans. Charlie Worsham warmed up the crowd with is
countrified rock tunes and Owen took it away from there.
PRCA Rodeo Timed Slack got the day started,
then Miss Rodeo Colorado took over the Stampede Arena with The MRC Horsemanship
Contest. The Horsemanship Contest is a
pageant event that culminates in the Fashion Show and Coronation that will take
place at Greeley Central High School on Sunday, June 29 at 5:00 pm.
The Free Stage had its own crowds on
Friday night, however, they are sure to be outdone on Saturday when Rock
legends Winger whose top songs include, “Miles Away,” “Headed for a
Heartbreak,” and “Seventeen,” hit the Free Stage at 10:30 pm.
Future Rodeo Hall of Famers take over
the Stampede Arena with the Kids Rodeo at 9:00 am, on Saturday, June 28…don’t
miss the action. Make sure to stop by the Marvelous Mutts to catch this canine
spectacular. There’s great food at
Wiggins Concessions. Get some spicy
chicken on a stick and don’t forget the homemade honey mustard.
On Saturdays between 11:00 am & 3:00
pm you can ride Carnival Rides for only $2 per ride.
Once you’ve made your way around the
amazing activities throughout the park you can top off your evening, on June
28, with Three Days Grace and Special Guest Devour the Day at 8:00 pm in the
Stampede Arena. Three Days Grace is
topping the charts with their #1 song “Painkiller.” There are a limited number
of tickets available for this concert, so don’t wait to buy tickets at the
ticket window.
