HEADLINERS AT THE BACKYARD’S EXTRACTION STAGE
New for the 2017 Greeley Stampede is the designation of the Greeley Stampede Backyard. The Backyard will include Extraction Stage, Stampede Saloon and the food court. “There is nothing like having a party in your backyard” says Stampede Beverages Chairman Jerry Short. “We want to bring that same feeling to the Stampede.”
Staying true with an already amazing concert series, the Greeley Stampede is adding three headliners to this year’s line-up on the Extraction Stage. Sponsored by Extraction Oil and Gas, the music stage will provide guests with free concerts daily in the Backyard.
Performing June 24th on the Extraction Stage is Double Platinum metal band Warrant. With international hits Cherry Pie and Heaven, Warrant’s high-energy metal music is sure to entertain.
The next headliner is Phil Vassar July 3rd. Phil Vassar is one of a handful of musicians to have multiple hits as a songwriter and as an artist. He has 10 Number 1’s, 15 Top 10’s, and 26 TOP 40’s. He recently launched “Songs from the Cellar” a wine-infused musical conversation airing across the US and Europe.
Performing on July 4th before the fireworks show is Neal McCoy. Neal McCoy has released fifteen studio albums on various labels, and has released 34 singles to country radio. In 1993, Neal McCoy broke through with the back-to-back number 1 singles No Doubt About It and Wink from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It. His commercial success continued into the late 1990s with two more platinum albums and a gold album, as well as six more Top Ten hits. A seventh Top Ten hit, the number 10 Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On, came in 2005 from his self-released That’s Life.
More great music to come! A complete list of bands performing on the Extraction Stage will be available soon. Join the Greeley Stampede on Facebook and Twitter for exclusive announcements, contests and up-to-date Stampede information.
